Carriger Solar is a proposed solar photovoltaic (PV) electric generating facility with a capacity of 160 megawatts (MW) of alternating current (AC) solar energy and 63 MW of battery energy storage. The proposed site is located approximately two miles northwest of Goldendale.

About Carriger Solar

EFSEC received an application for site certification for the Carriger Solar project on February 10, 2023. EFSEC convened an informational public meeting on April 25, 2023, at the Goldendale Grange Hall and virtually. Since application, Cypress Creek Renewables, LLC, has filed three requests for extension of the processing time for their application.
