Columbia Solar - land use and adjudication

Summary

We held a land use consistency hearing for the Columbia Solar projects on December 12, 2017, at the Kittitas Valley Event Center Armory.

With its April 17, 2018, order granting expedited processing of the application for site certification, our Council determined the project was consistent and in compliance with Kittitas County's local land use provisions. The Council noted in its finding of land use consistency that the determination did not preclude the Council's inclusion in any eventual recommendation to the Governor of issues raised during the land use consistency discussion.
