Desert Claim Wind Power, LLC, submitted an application for site certification (ASC) on November 6, 2006, to construct and operate a 180-megawatt generation facility consisting of 90 wind turbines in unincorporated Kittitas County.
We held an informational public meeting on December 13, 2006, at the Home Arts Building in Ellensburg.
On January 29, 2009, the project proponent submitted a revised ASC that modified the project area and turbine configuration.
