In September 2020, OneEnergy Renewables, LLC, submitted draft application materials for a solar project in Yakima County for our staff's initial review. We met with the applicant the following month to provide feedback on the materials reviewed and guidance on the overall application and review process.

On January 21, 2021, OneEnergy Renewables WA Solar 1, LLC, (OER) submitted an application for site certification (ASC), proposing the construction and operation of Goose Prairie Solar, an 80-megawatt solar project with an optional battery storage system in Yakima County. OER filed an updated, revised ASC on June 22, 2021.
