Official approval for building and operating an energy facility

The Site Certification Agreement (SCA) lays out all terms and conditions that apply to the construction and operation of an energy facility. It comes after the governor approves our recommendation to approve an application for site certification. It takes effect once the governor has signed it.

An SCA becomes final once the governor has signed it. The final version may include changes to the original conditions that were in the draft SCA.
