Grays Harbor Energy Center - permits and compliance

According to the terms of the site certification agreement, Grays Harbor Energy Center bears responsibility for restoration of the site at the conclusion of the plant's operating life. The Certificate Holder has had to submit initial and modified site restoration plans since the plant's inception and will need to submit a final site restoration plan prior to decommissioning. Chapter 463-72 WAC, Site Restoration and Preservation, provides details about deadlines for submitting an Initial Site Restoration Plan and Detailed Site Restoration Plan and required elements to be included in those plans to secure our Council approval.
